Prestige Vacations is a Chennai-based holiday membership company that has been operating for over 15 years. We are part of the Prestige Group of Companies, operating under two divisions — Prestige Vacations (membership, tours, and member experience) and Prestige Clubs & Resorts (our own resort properties).

We currently have 14,000+ active members across India and own three resort properties — The Country Resort and The Country Suites in Mahabalipuram, and The Country Bay in Marakkanam.

Prestige Vacations offers two membership plans:

• Club Membership — access to all Prestige properties, day outings, priority event invitations, member discounts, and gift voucher access. Ideal for families who want flexible, ongoing access.
• Holiday Membership — everything in the Club Membership, plus annual resort stay nights and curated tour packages to 50+ destinations across India. The most complete holiday plan available.

For families who holiday regularly and value convenience, the membership pays for itself quickly. Here is what makes it genuinely worth it:

• You get access to three owned resort properties — resort stays at member rates are significantly lower than non-member rates.
• Tour packages to 50+ destinations are included in the Holiday Membership — each package individually would cost considerably more.
• Day outings, events, and discounts across the year add up in value far beyond the membership cost.
• You stop planning from scratch every holiday — the Prestige team handles it for you.

Yes, Prestige Vacations offers payment flexibility. EMI and instalment options are available for membership. The specific options available to you will be discussed during your membership consultation with our team.

Yes. Prestige memberships are family memberships — your immediate family members can use the membership benefits along with you. The specific definition of "family" included in the plan and any add-on options for extended family will be explained during your membership consultation.

As a Prestige Vacations member, you get access to all three Prestige Clubs & Resorts properties:

• The Country Resort, Mahabalipuram — our flagship resort on the ECR, 90 minutes from Chennai. Resort stays, day outings, events, and the Green Bay restaurant.
• The Country Suites, Mahabalipuram — private villas with personal swimming pool access and indoor games. Perfect for couples, families, and celebrations.
• The Country Bay, Marakkanam — our newest property with private beach access and swimming pool, just launched on the Marakkanam coastline.

• The Country Resort, Mahabalipuram — approximately 60 km from Chennai city centre, about 90 minutes by road via the ECR.
• The Country Suites, Mahabalipuram — same area as The Country Resort, approximately 90 minutes from Chennai.
• The Country Bay, Marakkanam — approximately 110 km from Chennai, about 2 hours by road via the ECR.

All three properties are accessible via the East Coast Road — a scenic, comfortable drive from Chennai.

Non-members can stay at The Country Resort at standard (non-member) rates. However, most Prestige events and day outing privileges are available to members and their guests only.

For non-members interested in experiencing Prestige properties, it is often better value to enquire about a membership — member rates for stays and experiences are significantly lower than non-member rates.

The Country Resort is our flagship property — located at No. 45/2, East Coast Road, Devaneri, Mahabalipuram, near the UNESCO World Heritage Shore Temple. The resort offers:

• Suite Rooms (Garden View and Balcony View) — from ₹14,160/night
• Executive Rooms (Garden View and Balcony View) — from ₹8,850/night
• All rooms are 47–48 Sqm with complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi
• Green Bay restaurant — fresh seafood, vegetarian options, live aquarium
• Landscaped gardens, room service, parking, and pickup/drop service
• Swimming pool (coming soon) and spa (coming soon)

Tell us the property you want to visit, the dates, and the number of guests. Our team will check availability and confirm your booking. For day outings, prior booking is recommended to ensure availability, especially on weekends and public holidays.

We recommend booking at least:

• Weekdays — 3–5 days in advance
• Weekends — 7–10 days in advance
• Public holidays and long weekends — 2–4 weeks in advance
• New Year, Christmas, Diwali — 1–2 months in advance

As a member, you get priority booking rights — but popular dates fill up fast, especially at The Country Suites and The Country Bay. We always recommend booking early.

Our cancellation policy varies based on the type of booking and the notice given. Generally:

• Cancellations with adequate notice are rescheduled without penalty.
• Last-minute cancellations may be subject to terms based on the specific booking.
• For event bookings and peak season stays, specific cancellation terms apply.

Yes. Prestige members can bring guests to the properties and events. Guest charges may apply depending on the type of visit (day outing vs overnight stay vs event). Our team will confirm any applicable guest charges when you make your booking.

The Holiday Membership gives access to tour packages across 50+ destinations in India, including:

Tour package inclusions vary by destination and package type. Typically, Prestige tour packages include accommodation, transportation, and key sightseeing arrangements. Our team handles all coordination — you simply show up and enjoy the trip.

Prestige Vacations organises a calendar of events exclusively for members throughout the year, including:

• Weekend experiences — pool parties, cultural evenings, family fun days

Members receive priority access and early registration rights for all events before they open to the public.

A Prestige Vacations gift voucher is a prepaid voucher that can be redeemed for experiences across all our properties — resort stays, day outings, events, tour packages, and more. The recipient contacts our team, chooses the experience they want, and we arrange it.

Gift vouchers are available for purchase by both members and non-members. They can be delivered digitally or physically, and can be personalised with a message for the occasion.

Yes. Prestige gift vouchers are available for gifting to non-members. The recipient can redeem the voucher for a resort stay at The Country Resort, a day outing, or other experiences available to non-members. It is also a great way to introduce someone to the Prestige experience who might then consider a membership themselves.
